About Me

WHO AM I?

Hi. I’m Clifton (Cliff) Franklin. Many regard me as a passionate, caring, genuine individual who leads with my HEART. My authentic style helps me to quickly connect with others while building and fostering strong lasting relationships. I’m a trusted resource and is sought out by many; even those I have officially and unofficially worked with over the years still come to me for insight and guidance. I have 20 plus years of experience in the discipline of Human Resources and in various other formal leadership roles. I hold an M.B.A., and professional certifications in Personal & Executive Coaching and Human Resources. I’ve SERVED as Career Mentor with SHRM (National Society of Human Resources Management), and as an Career Coach with the Louisiana Educate Program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I’m currently an Instructor at Southern University. I’ve also SERVED in various community volunteer roles; K-12 church/school mentor, youth sports coach.

Personally, I LOVE music no matter the genre. And even though I’m proud of the impact I’ve had on others throughout my life, I truly believe I was born to be a Cowboy. This is proven by my bowlegs and awesome boot collection!! But more than music and being a Cowboy, I LOVE to SERVE. Be it as a son, brother, uncle, relative, friend, instructor, Human Resources professional, leader, mentor, community volunteer, or career/personal coach, the opportunity to SERVE others and impact lives wakes me up in the morning. It feeds me and brings my heart joy! I look forward to SERVING you!!
